  • I am returning to this wiki, I won't edit as much as I used to because I am might be working on different wikis as well, but I am probably going to make around 10 - 50 edits a day.

  • Just to let you know, the tier bar is not the same-ish color as Rare. It's mostly a white color like Slipstream's. If you're updating the CSS for the theme use these pictures as references:

    Octoey
    Crystals

    Mystery Box highlight for Luxuries.

    Gettingweary

    Getting a Luxury item

    No

  • Noticing Luxury item pages have their tier bars a little...let's say, "small"? Is there some sort of a single Luxury infobox theme that can fix the tier bars for the Luxery pages?

    • oh, I haven't been feeling like playing MH in the past few months, especially when it feels like I can't gather all of the info for the resurrection update and the updates after. It's been a while since I have done much on wikia relating to Miner's Haven, hopefully I can work on infoboxes and this wikia next month. I don't know exactly when I will release new infobox themes, but for now I will have just the tier bar for the luxury infobox theme.

    • Thanks for sending me this! I did not look at it until now but I now what situation is with net nuetrality rn and I wrote to congress through that website.

    • can somebody explain this in a nutshell lol

      kind of confusing

        Loading editor
    • I'll do the best that I can. right now there's a policy in the US called net neutrality where internet providers can't descriminate specific websites, they have to treat all data to and from each website equally. Without net nutrality, internet providers can throttle (in this case intentionally slow down) the speed of specific websites you visit in favor of their company and to favor certain companies over others, allowing them to make more money. This would hurt the ecnonomy because it can prevent new online services from emerging due to throttled speeds from internet providers.

      There are only a few people that will vote on December 14th on whether or not net neutrality will stay and many of them are against net neutrality, another one of the many worries of the end of net neutralirty is that other countries would follow the US's lead. Don't quote me on this stuff.

  • um... hi? i guess,

    it kind of self explanatory so i dont think ill need to explain.

    but yeah... custom name...

    and idk why i got kind of bored and litteraly made a ... um... custom name code ? after basing myself of the existing custom name tag on your test wikia common.css (+ im bad at explaining stuff so it probably better like this xD)

    idk if this actualy work but it should not be too hard to correct error that i probably did:

    body #WikiaPage a[href*="Dark_Tenebris"] {

    --WCGradient: radial-gradient(at top left,#ff0000 20%,#000000 50%,#808080 60%,#000000 130%,#ff0000 130%);

    font-family: New Rocker/VT323 !important;

    border-image: var(--WCGradient) 1 stretch !important;

    filter: drop-shadow(0px 3px 3px #000000);

    background-image: var(--WCGradient);

    color: transparent !important;

    }

    (idk what font are available or actualy work so i just placed those 2 (though i have a bit of a preference over New Rocker) if neither work, just do no font)

    (i did not know if filter was needed for it to work so i left it here... but honestly i dont really want a shadow)

    (also how long is this comment)

    • You were pretty close with the username CSS, the WCGradient variable was made just for WolfCrafter (notice how their username is abbreviated) just so that I wouldn't have to copy the long gradient they have with their username three times, just to reduce character count, I am still going to use the variable but have it renamed to BTGradient for the sake of it. When it comes to fonts, I would see if the fonts are free for commerical use (to make money directly or indirectly, wikia profits from ads on their website so it counts as commercial use), lucky for you, both fonts are on Google Fonts which only has free fonts, and Google makes my life easier as I can just copy and paste a line of CSS they wrote to import each font. Since you have a preference for New Rocker that's the font I gave for your username, although with CSS, you can have backup fonts but I did not add the VT font because it has just as much compatibility as the New Rocker font with the import links alone (with other fonts I use a web font generator take can convert TTF (TrueType Font) files to 4 other font formats for near complete compatibility but that takes a lot of energy to upload several font files onto my test wiki where I host them which is why I only do that for fonts that I enable site wide rather than for custom usernames), but you also had the syntax wrong with the backup font thing, the thing you typed would have been treated as one one, you separate fonts with commas like so: "New Rocker, Source Sans Pro". btw, I usually prefer to have CSS placed inside of a box with the following wikitext (you press the code icon represented by <> when typing these messages, I am also working on implementing an icon font to replace all the icons in my CSS file, icon font icons can have their colors changed as the icons are treated as text but in some areas it's harder to implement that I thought):

      • <pre>Inset CSS here, even if the box doesn't expand for some reason, makes copy / pasting things much easier but not mandatory.</pre>

      Also, I have common CSS for gradient usernames where I copy / paste usernames with gradients to reduce character count rather than copy and paste the same properties onto every username. In these common properties, I have IT written to have -webkit-text-fill-color set to transparent, that property also controls text color but has a higher priority than the color property. I changed the radial gradient top left gradient to linear-gradient(135deg) - also form top left since it also reduces character count by a bit and looks close to the original gradient orientation you have. I'm glad you reached out to me for a custom username as it does a great job indicating your special ranks including admin & mod ranks, I have no received a comment too long to read, I have received longer comments from other users but when I do, I am less likely to read the comment right away as I know I need to focus a bit more and have my attention undivided when reading one.

      • I kept the filter you had for the username and thought a light red one would be fitting seeing the colors in your gradient. If you want a different filter color, don't want a filter at all (note that the CSS u were looking at was built to work on other wikias and the filter is for looks AND to make it easier to look at over more backgrounds), feel free to reply.

  • Hi this user http://minershaven.wikia.com/wiki/User:SkyofBees vandalized the TOD page, I've tried to revert it but it says it contains conflicting intermediate content or something like that, could you have a look and take the appropriate action. Thanks :)

    • Thanks for the report, I undid all of the edits by going into the history page, clicking on the version before it got vandalized and published it by clicking edit and publish. I now also gave you admin here, hope that helps.
